Statement on Updated Results

Friends,

With this latest batch of results, our lead has expanded to 301 votes, and it is looking more and more probable that we will be victorious.

I received word that my opponent conceded this evening, and I appreciate the gracious remarks and message of unity for our community. While these results do look promising for us, I still want to respect the process and the remaining votes to be counted, given how tight the race has been, and will update again after the next batch of results is released tomorrow at 5pm.

Vallejo is a truly special place, and I look forward to serving as Mayor for these next four years, should these trends hold. Although it was my name on the ballot, this was a true team effort that took every single one of us. We should all be immensely proud of what we have accomplished together. I am so grateful for the support and look forward to working together to ensure a bright future for our City.
